COVID-19 Update

September 14, 2020 – Sinalda UK

Due to recent events surrounding the current COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to reassure you that we are still operating business as usual.

As this crisis is developing daily, we are closely monitoring current UK Government guidelines and advice given by the World Health Organisation. Should the situation escalate, we shall immediately review our current plans.

As a responsible employer, we take this situation very seriously. We have put measurements in place to reduce the amount of staff that operate in our UK office by allowing them, where practical, to work remotely from home. With our manufacturing operations, we are working very closely with our suppliers and partners to maintain the flow of product and, where possible,  have increased inventory stock levels to reduce any potential disruption to supply as this situation develops.

These are unprecedented times that we all find ourselves in, but rest assured that we are doing everything possible to keep the business running as usual and can continue to provide customers with the service and support that they need.

UPDATE #1: Monday November 02, 2020 – Sinalda UK

As you will have probably heard, over the weekend the UK Prime Minister announced plans for further coronavirus-related restrictions in England.

With these new rules due to come into force as from Thursday 5th November, kindly note we will continue to be operating as per what has become the new “Norm”.

UPDATE #2: Monday December 21, 2020 – Sinalda UK

Following the announcement by the UK Government over the weekend of new Tier 4 restrictions, we want to reassure our customers that we are continuing to operate, as far as possible, as ‘normal’.

However, due to current restrictions and demands under which international delivery services are now having to operate we are expecting delays on some shipments reaching our customers, particularly in mainland Europe and Ireland.

While these logistic delays are out of our control rest assured that we are doing everything we can to provide you with the best and promptest service possible.

UPDATE #3: Tuesday, January 05, 2021 – Sinalda UK

Following the announcement by Boris Johnson on Monday evening of further lockdown restrictions across the UK, we continue to remain open for business.

Over the past few months, we have introduced a wide range of enhanced procedures to ensure compliance with social distancing, hygiene and Government guidelines regarding COVID-19 at all of our locations to make them COVID-secure.   We have also invested in technology to support our staff’s remote work and to digitise our internal processes to reduce the need for personal contact.  These modifications to our working practices give us the confidence that we are well placed to continue our operations during the period of tighter restrictions.

The health and safety of our people, customers and suppliers are of paramount importance to us and we continue to monitor the situation closely.  We regularly review our procedures and protocols and will continue to adapt them accordingly over the coming weeks and months in line with UK Government advice.

UPDATE #4: Monday, July 19, 2021 – Sinalda UK

Throughout the pandemic, we’ve focused on ensuring the health and safety of our people, customers and suppliers.

While, as from today, the easing of restrictions in the UK means that some safety measures will no longer be a legal requirement, we’ve listened to customers and our colleagues, and we know a lot of people remain highly cautious.

In line with the UK Government’s advice to act carefully, we are continuing to operate COVID-19 secure measures just to be on the safe side.

As always, we will continue to review our procedures and protocols and will continue to adapt them accordingly over the coming weeks and months in line with professional advice.
