At Sinalda UK our Three-Phase AC Voltage Stabilisers continuously monitor the incoming mains supply. If the voltage rises or drops, they will automatically control the output voltage – ensuring the voltage reaching the load equipment always remains constant at the required requisite voltage. Inbuilt protection features also continuously safeguard that the load against harmful mains born high energy surges, spikes, and transients.

For less prevalent situations, where electrical noise is also an issue on-site, most models are also available as Power Line Conditioners offering an enhanced level of Transient Voltage Surge & Spike Suppression (TVSS) protection and delivering the added benefit of filtering out any electrical noise and interference present on the incoming utility supply – ensuring what is commonly referred to as a ‘CLEAN’ supply.

A Three Phase Voltage Stabilizer (also known as Three Phase Voltage Regulator) continuously monitors the incoming three phase mains utility supply. Should the incoming voltage rise or drop, the Stabilizer will automatically control the output to ensure the voltage reaching the load equipment always remains constant at the requisite voltage.

The cost of a Three Phase Voltage Stabilizer can vary depending on a variety of factors, of which the two prime ones are – the power rating of the load you wish to protect and the required permissible input voltage window the Stabilizer is expected to operate in whilst still delivering the required output voltage. As a general rule of thumb, on smaller rated applications, Servo Electronic solutions are the most cost-efficient. However, above 80 kVA Static Electronic Stabilizers tend to be more cost advantageous and offer enhanced power protection features with a smaller footprint. To get pricing, please contact us.

Both a Three Phase Voltage Stabiliser & Power Line Conditioner protect against voltage transients, spikes, sags and brownouts; however, a Power Conditioner also offers additional protection against Electrical Noise and a higher-level defence against transients and spikes. The output of an AC Power Conditioner is commonly referred to as a Clean supply. As you would expect, a Power Line Conditioner usually is more expensive than a Voltage Stabilizer / Regulator. So, if electrical noise is not an issue on your site, the most cost-efficient solution is more often than not, a Three Phase Voltage Stabilizer.

Historically, Servo Electronic based Three Phase Voltage Stabilisers have dominated the market for commercial and general industrial applications. However, in recent years with advances in microprocessor control, the Static Electronic / Digital Stabiliser has really come into its own. Today, as static solutions with no moving parts other than fans for cooling, these types of Stabilizer are growing in popularity, especially for power applications above 80 kVA. Where the application is genuinely industrial in nature, and the stabilizer is expected to operate in a far more demanding power and physical environment, Magnetic Induction based industrial stabilizers are the most appropriate. However, they come with a heftier price tag!
